The Apple Invites alternative that works for every host and every guest

For iCloud+ subscribers, Apple Invites costs nothing extra and Apple says there are "no ads, additional costs, or limits on the amount of events you can host." Each event gets a Shared Album, an optional Apple Music playlist, Maps directions and the weather forecast, and backgrounds can be generated with Image Playground. It's rated 4.7 from about 21,000 App Store ratings.

Hosting requires iCloud+, and Apple's support page says up to 100 guests can participate per event. Guests don't need an Apple Account, but some App Store reviewers say it still wasn't simple for everyone: "many were not able to easily login and respond," one wrote in February 2025, and another, who invited 80 people, noted "there's no batch send" in April 2025. Custom RSVP questions and reminders weren't advertised when we checked, and gifts are handled with a plain link.
