EzyEvite vs Paperless Post vs Greenvelope
Paperless Post and Greenvelope are the envelope-and-liner end of online invitations, and both price by the guest. EzyEvite charges one flat price per invitation. Here's how that plays out at 50, 100 and 250 guests.

Paying per guest vs paying per invitation
Paperless Post sells Coins, and each guest costs a set number of Coins depending on the card. The first 50 sends of a free design are free, though you may have to remove envelopes, liners, backdrops or stamps to keep it free. Coins aren't refundable, and free Coins expire after a year. It's the part of Paperless Post reviewers complain about most: "ridiculous coins system (we're adults organising a party, not children playing Fortnite)" wrote one in July 2026. Paperless Post scored 1.6 from 46 reviews on Trustpilot when we checked.
Greenvelope avoids Coins and says so: "no coins, ads, or surprises." You pay for one mailing by guest count, $19 for up to 20 guests up to $249 for 250, or buy an annual plan.
EzyEvite charges $1.99 to publish an evite, and email invitations to your whole list are free after that. The price doesn't change with the design or the guest count.
Where Greenvelope is the better pick
If budget isn't the constraint, Greenvelope is hard to fault. Its reviews are exceptional, the animated envelope is polished, it's ad-free, and it includes 500 texts, with sending by SMS, WhatsApp or Messenger. For a formal wedding where the envelope moment matters most, it's a strong choice.
Where EzyEvite is the better pick
EzyEvite is built for hosts who want everything on one page: the invitation, the RSVP form, a registry with gift claiming so no one buys duplicates, cash funds, potluck and volunteer sign-up sheets, and a shared photo album guests add to after the event. RSVP forms can ask for party size, adults and kids, meal choices and dietary needs, and a capacity limit moves extra yeses to a waitlist. Invitations and RSVP pages are available in 7 languages.
For a 150-guest wedding, that's $1.99 instead of a price that scales with the list. See wedding invitations or pricing.
Questions
Is there a Paperless Post alternative without Coins?
Yes. Greenvelope charges per mailing in dollars, and EzyEvite charges $1.99 per published evite with free email invitations, so the price doesn't depend on how many guests you invite.
How much does Greenvelope cost for 100 guests?
Greenvelope listed $99 for a single mailing to up to 100 guests when we checked on September 14, 2026. Annual plans started at $125 a year for up to 50 guests per mailing.
Is Paperless Post free?
Partly. Free designs can go to up to 50 guests without buying Coins, but you may need to remove envelopes, liners or stamps. Paid cards cost per guest.
Can I send wedding invitations with EzyEvite?
Yes. Start from a wedding template, ask for meal choices and dietary needs on the RSVP, add your registry and cash funds, and export every response to CSV. Publishing costs $1.99.
