The ads and the plan limits
SignUpGenius says free sign-ups carry ads on its website and in its emails, and participants see them too. Reviewers notice: "The site is riddled with ads which gives the site a dated appearance," one wrote on Trustpilot in September 2024. Custom questions start on the Gold plan at $29.99 a month, texts need a paid plan, and its RSVP sign-up format can't limit guest numbers or remove the Maybe option, according to its help center.
