Common wording mistakes
- ✓Implying dinner when there isn't one. A 7 PM start with no mention of food can leave guests hungry. Say "hors d'oeuvres" or "light bites" so guests can eat beforehand.
- ✓Using a dress code nobody can decode. Creative phrases mean different things to different guests. Pair any playful dress code with a plain one, such as "cocktail attire, sparkle welcome".
